OK, I sit corrected and admit defeat! Also I agree with the ruling, my whole comment was based on what was being called on a regular basis from the local tournaments.

It's not a defeat, Robert,

We all got a great clarification, for situations that could happen quite a bit.  Unless the whole foosworld decides to suddenly only shoot or pass rolling non-static balls from the back.
