I'm an old guy (60) that would like to buy his grandson a foosball table for Christmas. When I played as a teenager, all the tables did not have the slick surfaces you see today. You could trap the ball and manipulate it much easier than on a slick surface. Are those types of tables still around today? Would it be better if I bought him a table with the slick surface? Thanks for any help you can provide.
