« on: September 28, 2006, 10:02:24 PM »
I was thinking about purchasing the ???? Oxford Rustic Antique Foosball Table at ????.
dead link sorry

Do you think it's a good table? Otherwise i'm thinking just looking for used table on ???? or somewhere. What kink of tables should I look into getting? I'm not familiar with the name brands and what is good and not.

Thanks,

Rick

tornado is one of the best brand names.... even used, they are top notch quality. my personal thoughts. Im sure others here know more about it than I do... but you can't go wrong buying a tornado.....

if you want to play any tournaments at all....get a tornado.....personally to me it is the best table out there....once you learn on you can perfect anything you want on that table...the tornado is a very sturdy and fast table it is great!!
and at that price you can get a used Coin Op table trust me you cant go wrong with a tornado.....

The table looks a lot like a cheaper version of the spanish made Futbolin. Even the top of the range futbolin tables are poor. Id recon that the table you're looking at would be even worse.

Ill rate the tables by ***** five i awesome *is fire wood. This is only my opinion!!!

There are 5 makes worth looking at if you want to play in a competitive scene, Tornado***** (American), Tec Ball**** (German), Garlando***** (Italian[good table but very, very rarely seen in the US) Bonzini** (french/belgium) Eurosoccer**** (Belgium[not worth getting as the table has lost its ITSF sanction and will probably die a death)

Ive heard good things about Legend but they are still very much in their infancy.
