Topic: another situation question..

so at our local dyp i was watching the last match.. i came in third .. anyway.. it was  a really good match.. russ king and ken oda vs. evan stachelek  and brian sulke.. its 4 to 4 on the last game.. and brian is playin in the back and shoots a push shot.. it tic tacs off of 2 of russ' five bar men and flys off the table.. now this is where my question comes in.. i was under the impression the ball would go to ken oda (playing d' for russ) but evan was sayin that since russ tic tac the ball that he had control last before it went off the table.. I saw what happened and said it wasn’t really control just the momentum of the ball not really russ controlling it..  now would it go back to brian or go to ken..

100% it would go to ken.. it has to do with control and if russ was able to control the ball first the it would be different but that didnt happen

If a ref were on the table he would have to decide whether or not the tic tac was sufficient control. The way you are describing it, Brian provided the power and if Russ just basically blocked it and it flew off the table, in this case ken should get the ball.
