Q: where can I buy a new/used Tornado T2000 locally in the South SF Bay?

Greetings,

I am a brand new member in this forum/site and want to say "hello" to everyone.

My co-workers are thinking of chipping in some $ to buy a good foosball table to play at our workplace. We really think we want "that" Tornado T2000 table. Anyone know where we can buy one locally from the South SF Bay so we don't have to pay for a hefty ($200-$300) shipping fee. A good used T2000 is good for us as well if you know where we can get it.

Many Thanks,
~Lost (I don't know how did I came up with this nickname   :) )

Thank you, Mr. TSR_Brad!

I just shot inquiry emails to both of those business places. Hope we can play soon...  :D

Many thanks for your pointers,
~Lost

Thanks Edgeer!

We think we are a bunch of potential abusers here and hope that only the T2000 can tolerate us all. We're afraid the Dynamo or the Storm available on Craigslist may not survive us for long... Also, when we were at Sun Microsystems, we were spoiled with the T2000.  Sun was great, the company bought us that table... Now we have to pay with our own, that's why we are looking for a budgeted one  :(

Let me know if you see any T200 for sale. I'll post here if/when we get one.

Thanks,
~Lost ("Lost" until a table is found. Will change to "Win" for less pessimism  :D )

shipping shouldn't be more than 125-160...you should buy no newer than the Grey Marble (not the most recent mental wrapped ones until all the bugs are worked out)...or you can get an older Brown Marble but I don't recommend the Rosewood or Blonde they made between those (I own the Rosewood)

you say T2000 but there is a coin-op version and a non-coin op version and you will want the coin op

for a gray marble you should not have to pay more than $1150 for a like new tournament used table and I have seen them on ebay for as low as $650 in the last couple of months and there was very recently one for $750

Brown Marble, most will need some maintenance but I think it is the best built of all the tables in the last 15+ years...you can pick them up for $400-$600 ($600 should be top top dollar so that table should be in real good shape relative to other brown marbles)...one of these days, I am going to get one of those and convert it to like new with rods, men, bearings, etc

good luck
