Not too many players from Raleigh post here.    But some players from other areas of NC do post here (or at least read the posts).  Where do you play around the Raleigh area?  Fat Daddy's, the Ale House, Mojo's ?  The players I have played against, and with, in the Raleigh area are some good people and good foosers as well (especially the Bonzini players).

yes...much more with Traynor since Dube isn't out as much...and I laid off the local DYP starting Oct 07...I have only been to 2 since then...I will start attending every other week starting next week but those are weeks Dube isn't there

I am out every Friday at the local haunt for bar foos (Buzzard Beach) and I see Traynor there regularly...matter of fact we played together last Friday and almost left undefeated, we lost our last game at 2:15am

One of your regular players occasionally plays here at the Lake of the Ozarks on our DYP's. I met Traynor at the KC Classic in Lenexa a couple years back. I am planning on making a trip up on Thursday to play with your crowd soon. Any of you guys play at Pete's Inn on the Sunday no-pro tournaments?

who is the regular at the Ozarks?  Pete's Inn is up North and I think that is run by Dube but I don't think it is regular every Sunday but I am a little out of the loop so I am not positive.  I should see some of the gang out tonight so I will ask and let you know

if you are going to stay a couple of days, you ought to plan to do Thursday at Sharks for the DYP and Friday at the Buzzard Beach in Westport for fun and gun

Thursday is every other week Open DYP and No-Pro on the others
Yesterday 5/15 was Open DYP if you want to keep track from there if it makes a difference to you

Chris Dube has been coming out more often on the Open night compared to the past...Kent Rhodes is always there as the resident PM and his son Joe comes out every once in a while just to prove he is still unbeatable...i can remember the last time Joe lost a DYP and it doesn't matter who he draws...i respect Dube and his game is coming back but Joe is the best player, by a fair margin, above the next group

Dube is clearly the next best and Kent is the resident PM but over the last 6 months he has been beaten many times

after that, there are a group of good rookie/semi-pro types Chris Traynor being the winningnest this year...I consider myself in that group (and I think others would as well) and Chris Rhodes (Joe's older brother) when he plays, and Steve Tran, and others

anyway, since moving to Sharks there have been a number of new players come out and some old ones start again so it has been good there
