Ball tumbler

I'm so cheap!  >:(I bought some 50 grit sand paper and cut it to fit in a 1/2 gallon plastic peanut butter jar, sides, lid and bottom. I used spray glue to stick it. Shake and roll the balls for 15 minutes and the balls come out sweet! I think that they make harder contact from shaking rather than rolling like tumblers do and that is why they come out so good after only 15 minutes. They are good for a couple weeks and then I do it again.

That's a great idea, and hopefully tournament directors and assistants all over the country will start doing this before every local.

However, we all might have to start a bunch of foosers' mariachi or samba bands....  Fifteen minutes with a can..... that has to burn a bit?  Or a new fitness craze...

Here's an idea:  On those days you plan to tumble some balls, just wear some really grungy clothes, go to some busy street corner, and don't forget to bring a hat or some can to put on the ground while you tumble the balls.

This way, you can add some really good money to the pot at the next draw or bring!  We all have to do our part in this here shotgun economy...
