TWIF has the inside and was able to sit down and talk on camera about the table with Steve!

So keep an eye out for more video to be posted daily!

Until then, here are some pics and a short video of Hall of Famer Steve Simons new Extreme Foos Foosball Table!

I like the looks of the table.   Do the timeout buttons have a timer, or is it just to mark a timeout?   The goalie area looks like it has raised corners, if so why is there still 3 men on the back rod?   Nice table.

the time out button should not be on one side of the table or other, that will create big issues...it needs to be on the top of one of the ends so whoever calls it, can push it...the team on the non-button side will be mad if the other team pushes it real fast when they call time out and real slow when the team with the button calls a time out

plus, lets get real, rare are time outs actually 30 seconds but I guess if you are timing the game, it will make a big difference

it sound like steve is for sure convinced that timing the game will work but I can see benefits but the downside is that if a team is on a run, the other team doesn't have a chance to catch up...you can beat me 5/0 5/0 and I win the next three 4/5, 4/5, 4/5...i have a chance to regroup and stratigize

however, if it is timed, and the other team goes up 10 zero, good luck coming back on that

Timed game would suck.    Thats like telling 2 baseball teams you have 90 minutes, who ever is in the lead at the end wins.     I do not see the point in timed games.    Is the timed game part of the coin op thingy?

it is an option of the Game Room (fully electronic) version Steve has put out...the idea is that it would create different dynamics and make people manage the game much differently...if you were one score down with 30 seconds to go, things could get very interesting - 5 bar shots might get much more attention

i think foos fits more into the mold of tennis, handball, darts, pool, and ping pong all of which are first to X number is a game and x number of games is a match

foosball really isn't like football, basketball, ice hockey, or even field soccer

Yeah, all of those games have direct contact, in foosball, none of the players can touch so it is not a contact sport.  Timed tables need to have a tilt button that dislodges the ball from the other player.
