Topic: Electronic scoring not recording goals on one side

I have a harvard foosball table model G01991, and it has what I believe is an Escalade electronic scoring system. Everything on the scoring system works accept one thing, it does not record goals for one side of the table. However, while messing with it, I realized that it will record the goals if I shine a light down the goal while the ball drops. As soon as I remove the light, it stops recording goals again. Does anyone have any ideas on what the problem might be, and how to fix it?

Make sure the sensor is clean and properly aligned if that does not help try calling Customer Service at 800-426-1421
