It all depends on how you define game and sport. Webster wouldn't agree with me, but I always thought a good way to define game and sport is: a game is "turn based" (i.e., where you take turns playing against the game itself), and a sport is where you play directly against an opponent (i.e., the opponent can play defense etc. against you). Therefore, examples of games would be pool, darts, golf, bowling, and examples of sports would be basketball, football, chess, ... and foosball :-).
