Monster Energy Drink is sending out a representative (Possibly the Monster Energy Girl) to the VA Open for a little product promotion. We also received confirmation that the AQBB will have 3 teams joining us for the weekend. Looks like the VA Open is going to be a blast.

We have a few surprises :twisted:  planned for the Friday the 13th DYP also. :twisted:

After a long break we return to the Shenandoah Valley for our traditional Thunder in the Mt. Foosball Spectacular and resume the Bonzini U.S.A. Foosball Tour. We will have the new modified playing figurine on our tournament B-90 tables for the first time. The flattened side allow better ball control for those that prefer a tic-tac style without effect any other ball movement techniques. Our host location, Byers Street Bistro, looks forward to our groups return and the Shenandoah Valley Foosball Association will be pulling out all the stops to entertain the visiting foosers. For a quick escape from the summer heat, head to the beautiful
Blue Ridge Mountains for competition, fun and friendship. Our designated charity is HOSPICE and we need not say how important a service they offer to the local community. We are excited to get the summer foosball session rolling. You can get all the information you need at:

Our organization is unique, professional and committed to having fun. Our main tournament room will be smoke-free. Neat dress required. Spectators are welcomed. We will have some marketing representatives that will be interveiwing players and spectators gathering information on the sport of foosball. Be ready with some sharp answers.

Jim and I should be there in time for the Rules Seminar on Friday.  I'll keep you posted if we hit major delays on the road.  There will be 5!!! players from the MD/DC/NoVA area this time (ok, one is transplanted from Raleigh, but he is ours now    ).  Looking forward to seeing everyone again.  See you friday.
