Just got two new coin-ops
« on: January 03, 2009, 11:23:56 AM »
we got with the vendor for our local spot and talked him into putting two new tables in becasue the old brown marbles they had were just too damn old.  I have read threads on here about the new tables and thought id offer the general consensus among the players here on the performance thus far.  Table plays great love the look the logos on the sides look really cool.  The score markers are definately diffferent....Im not a fan of the plastic markers...but can deal with it.  The balls we got are the really red ones that are sticy sticky sticky.  I think itll take some getting used to but I didnt play so well with them inour first tourney on the new tables.  Does anyone know if these are gonna be the balls we should get used to playing with or should we use the regular tornado balls?  Also one more question....why are there 8 score pegs?

Overall we couldnt be happier with the performance.

The red balls are not the new tornado balls according to Mr. Mackintosh. They were briefly made but will not be used in the future. There are 8 score pegs because in big tourneys, open events are win by 2 in the final game up to 8.
