This is an important event as it will be used to launch a player and table sponsorship drive for the 2009 South Carolina State Foosball Championships to be held in Columbia May 1st and 2nd with a $1,500 purse. Funds will be raised to support the local Alzheimer's House. It's been over 35 years since SC has had a large foosball event. Please join us in supporting their efforts on May 1st.

SC State Championship Update:

We have received our letter of support from the Alzheimer's Association and confirmed that the Carolina Ale House at Columbiana Mall will be the host location. Even though we are months away, the staff at the CAH are already making plans for the players and spectators.

Table sponsor packages will be passed out at the SC Foosball Open on January 24th. Players obtaining table sponsorship will receive a table fee waiver and players package waiver for this event.

Tournament room set-up will take place Friday night. This will be a one day event. From what information we have gathered, we expect 50-60 players to attend. This event is being directed by the South Carolina Foosball Players Association.
