Telescoping rods and three man goalie table, ever seen one?
« on: January 13, 2006, 08:16:58 PM »
I have been looking for a telescoping rod three man goalie table.  Has anyone seen tables built that way?
We have kids.

In case I never find a telescoping rod three man goalie table, has anyone used the Rock-it and the Garlando tables?  Would you tell me the how they felt?
I tryed a garlando table a while ago, but have never used a Rock-it.

Thannks for any help
Steve

Steve, Even though i am a huge Tornado fan a Rock-It tables are good quality and you can pin the ball for snake and pin shots very easy....ball control is good and it would be the only other table i would consider buying...hope this helps.

Another option is to use rod guards: get a PVC pipe that's bigger than the rods and long enough to cover the ends of the rods when they're fully extended, and mount around the ends of the rods.  So you always have the PVC sticking out to full length, with the rods inside it where they won't poke kids in the head/eye/etc.  You can pad the PVC if desired.
