All:
Various arguments for/against the postive and/or negative accomplishments of USTSF aside, it should be well taken in that the open voting processes of USTSF allow for change by virtue of active participation by volunteer players and promoters. Whatever your position on all the various issues (see
http://www.usatablesoccer.org/uploads/Documents/Organization/Meetings/USTSF%20Board%20Meeting%20Agenda%20-%209-4-2010.pdf for a few examples), here's a great opportunity to affect change on current and future grass roots & juniors development, on growth of the game/sport for players of all skill levels nationwide, and on USA's continued dominance in international competition.
Having said that, I understand a number of people interested in the available USTSF Board positions had not learned of the opportunity until during T-Worlds and as a result would effectively miss the nomination submission deadline of September 6th. Therefore, we are extending that deadline
but only through this coming Friday, September 10th. Below is the updated/revised submission information:
September 6, 2010
