Topic: Ed Whitesides?

Anyone know if Ed Whitesides is still playing foosball anywhere?  I learned from him in Austin during the winter of 73/74 playing into the wee hours at a joint called Roy Rogers on two coin-op Tornado tables.  At the time, he was the Texas state champion or had been!

I sent a message to someone who might know.  Maybe he'll reply here or reply to my message.  I haven't heard of him playing since the 70's.  The only time I ever met him, we were considering playing together at the Emporium in Arlington, Tx.  I balked when he wanted me to pay his entry fee.  If I had known then what I know now, I would have done it.

He no longer plays, but is still around the Austin area, I think he's staying somewhere around Lake Travis. Saw him last year at Steve Simon's XFoos Club and he played at the Bart O' about 5 or 6 years ago. He does not want to hang out at any bars now days.
