Topic: Tornado handles--molded vs. wooden (new here-sorry if this is a repeat)

Greetings yall-
New here.  Just put together a new Tornado Elite last night.  Pleased with it but have a question.  The handles it came with are the yellow (4) and black (4) molded type, not the wooden variety listed on the packaging parts list.  I am wondering if this is a mistake or their new variety of handles.   I am a bit disappointed as I am used to playing with the wooden handles at the pub.

One thought I had was that perhaps a mistake was made and a rod/handle set for a T3000 table was accidentally included--(I saw these molded handles on the floor model of the 3000 table at the store).  What is the difference between the rods for the elite and the 3000 and how can I tell if I got the right rods?

Any help would be great.

The molded handles are the new ones.

Molded handles are all that Tornado makes these days. I would be happy to trade you 8 molded ones for 8 wooden ones.
