Is this a T2000 30th Anniversary Edition?
« on: February 12, 2014, 03:10:51 AM »
Hi

Would love your help on this one. Seller states it's the 30th Anniversary edition, but I read that the Tornado logo on the surface should say "product of valley". Looks like it says "foosball" on this one...could this be a 30th anniversary, or is it not?

Thanks again!!

Might be. Your eyes are way better than mine if you can read what's written under the big T in the middle of the table.

Either way, looks like a good table for a good price!

I think you might have a winner there. Hard to read but I think thats it. Very good write up. Perhaps the most creative writeup I have ever seen for a foosball table for sale on craigslist. If he is asking 600 you can get it for 500.

Agreed. Move fast. Don't waste anytime negotiating via email. Get there, make sure it is ok, tell the guy you love the table but name a couple of things that need work (rods, need to upgrade men, bearings, side strips, handles, etc.) offer $500 cash right then. If he sticks to his guns, still a good buy. Don't let those bastards from Palantir get it. Go for it!

Ok, the table is in my garage! I picked it up today - didn't bother negotiating from $600 since the table looks good and the seller mentioned he had many folks interested - and I've been looking for months (he was a nice guy, legit). He included spares and a bunch of balls. He said the rods are Merkel (not sure how to check).

Getting home was a bit of a challenge but got it without having to take the legs apart (the table is HEAVY!).

Haven't played it yet, planning on it tomorrow after a good cleaning (of the table). The only complaint I've heard is from my wife - she does not agree with the 'black marble' look. "Don't they have white or red ones that look more sporty?" I still love her.
