Tornado coin op ball trap assembly
« on: December 18, 2014, 08:20:11 AM »
Does anyone have information on how a ball trap assembly for an older Tornado coin op is supposed to work?  Perhaps instructions on assembling if buying a new gate assembly? Or pictures of a working assembly showing how the rod assembly fits with the gate assembly?

I bought a used gray marble table and everything is there, seems like it should work, but the ball trap/esd coin chute just won't push completely to bring the ball trap vertical.  I am thinking it may just be misaligned or something, but not sure how it is supposed to work/be put together.

Thanks.

It would be helpful if you post a pic of your mechanism.

Exploded parts diagrams of coin-op tables from Tornado website:

I have viewed the schematic provided by Valley, but unfortunately it doesn't show how the parts really go together.

Here are a couple of pictures.  Hard to see down into the gate assembly very well.

Thanks

I think the roller need to be    under/in front    of  the pivoting arm

When you push coin mech in the arm drops behind roller and when you pull it out it spins the ball trap

Think I follow you.  Will see if I can adjust it, but may have to wait on delivery of cash box key, so can complete disassemble and reassemble.

Thanks for the feedback.
