Finally got my first RP table.  Some background:  Grew up in SC playing foosball all the time at the the roller skating rink in late 70s/early 80s and then bars...  Been searching for a table and finally found one in right condition and price (drove 4 hours to get it).  It was pulled out of bar in PA and scooped up by the owners's daughter and remained in her basement since 2003..

I think mid 70's but will send RP a note to confirm (39 Ranchot/71 Chalon #35900 stamp), some of you experts may know by coin mechanism or other features.  Some pics attached.  She plays as is, but I will apply some elbow grease to clean her up.   The field has a couple of bubbling spots, but on the side and corners.  I am pretty handy so will likely restore the paint, replace field/hard board, replace some handles (have to confirm size of handles/rods), and rechrome some parts.

From the picks, you can see some rust build up--can any chrome shop do are does it have to be some other specialist?  I saw a thin wire filament that you can place under the coin release to enable "free" play.  A couple of cigarette burns on the red strips add some character...  Key to lock top table is in place, but the key to the coin box is missing.  It will be for home use so keys not a big deal.  Also, you can see the gaming distributor stamp (Peabody's)--not to be confused with Peabody's Nightclub in Virginia Beach, but there are tables that could be from the club and this distributor.

Read a lot of posts and a lot of links with pics are dead; lots of good sources for parts ebay.FR; Bonzini rep Alan, etc...

Once I begin the resto, I will catalog the process.

Appreciate any feedback recommendations on restoring and identifying production year and any obvious things a newbie would miss.

Pic link-let me know if link works

Nice table! Can't wait to see you restore it.
