Need advice on restoring used table
« on: April 05, 2017, 04:41:12 AM »
Bought a used table on Craigslist for our new game room in our basement . Table is not a high-end model but it gets the job done and everyone's having fun playing it. My wife , who played tournamentts back in her youth, got frustrated when she first played on it. The rods would not keep the kickers upright when she wanted a clear shot. They would roll back in place. Is that the bearings that need to be replaced? Any help appreciated. I would like to get a better table someday.

If you can post photos or describe the make/model of the table you'll probably get more specific advice. That said, men that stay put when rotated upwards are counterbalanced and since yours do not I'm guessing your bearings are fine and your men are not counterbalanced.. Depending on the table brand (Tornado, for instance) you might be able to replace the men with counterbalanced men.
