Tornado Bumpers
« on: June 23, 2019, 09:05:02 PM »
Anyone notice inconsistencies with the squishiness of bumpers from one table to the next? I have 4 different tables that i can play fairly regularly and all but one table have bumpers you can smoosh flat by pulling or pushing on the rod without too much effort. The 4th table takes much more effort to squash the bumpers. Does this have to do with the age of the bumpers or if they're broken in... any ideas?

IIRC there was a batch of bumpers about 2 years ago that were really really hard. Other than that you are likely just dealing with bumpers in various stages of wear. They tend to soften quite a bit before they tear/collapse.
