Tornado Home table vs. Tornado T3000

There's a pretty significant price difference in these tables. Tornado home starting at $1,399 whereas T3000 comes in at $2,199. Does the home table offer the same quality as the T3000 and if not, how different are they? I have the budget for a T3000 but if I can save some cash and still have a good quality table then I'm all for it.

I think you would be perfectly satisfied with a Home Model and have hours of fun ...then one day you will play on a well maintained T3000 and regret not buying one.  You would want a table that is at least the "classic"  which is over 200lbs with counter balanced men but does not have the more desired split bearings and heavier gauge rods - that is $1650msrp and at that price i think you could get coin-op tournament used which would be like new (someone else will need to chime in with specifics). Even if you still want to go with new the $600 more for split cabinet is  worth it as it is the "commercial" model without coin mech.

Looks like you could order the T3000 non coin model from this site for $2199 and that includes shipping the 350lb table.

If you have the budget, buy a tournament used coin-op. They are generally under 6 months old and have been professionally maintained. You can get one for $1700 and it is plays much better than a home model. It will also hold its value and should you need to resell, you will always get $1300+ if you take decent care of it.
