Topic: Need help identifying The Burner playfield glass type and source

I just acquired a 70's vintage home "The Burner" foosball table by Pleasure Games of Tulsa OK with broken glass playfield.  I would like to find a similar piece of glass as the dimpled surface produces a neat zinging sound as a ball slides along it.

The glass, which I was told is original, has the following characteristics:
- 26.25" x 48"
- 0.22 inch thick
- polished one side and a grid pattern of raised rectangular dimples on the other spaced 24.5/inch by 30.5 per inch
- annealed (assumed as it broke in a star pattern)

Inquiries to local glass shops have produced guesses of a pattern glass called Industrex or Mistlite.   Mistlite looks like a candidate but I can't find a source for less than a pallet QTY!

I'm hoping this community can come up with a name and source.

Is the piece of glass a rectangle at 48" x 26 1/4"?  Or are 4 corners cut off to accommodate ramped corners?    I can reach out to a few glass experts.   Cheers, Jim

The glass is a simple 48" x 26 1/4" rectangle.

Given that The Burner was manufactured in Tulsa OK I reached out to a bunch of glass shops by email and a day later received a call from Jackson Whitacre of Whitacre Glass who "really enjoyed foosball during his misspent youth" and recalled cutting many a piece of Industrex glass for Pleasure Games Corporation back in the 70's.  It was just great chatting with Jackson as we had a number of shared foosball experiences.  The only bummer was that he confirmed Industrex pattern glass is long gone

At this point I am continuing the search by reaching out to old glass suppliers in Chicago and New York City.  If anyone knows of suppliers like Whitacre Glass, who were established in 1935, in ORD or NYC, please leave a note here!

Good digging, thanks for sharing your findings.   The old folks at glass.com were helpful in finding referrals to other old glass shops and glass experts.   glasspossible.com is the lead I found for New York glass guru.
