Topic: Removing logo from Tornado playing surface

I have an old Tornado Twister in excellent shape, except that the center Tornado logo (old style) is scratched and fading. I’m wondering if there’s a safe method for removing the fading logo completely, which I then plan to replace with a new custom logo using stencil and spray paint. I’m obviously concerned about damaging the playing surface. Any advice is appreciated, and thank you.

I've never heard of that being done and I suspect that you would ruin the playing field trying to get the old one off.
