players hitting the edge

have a casual table for no rules foosball at work.
the red attackers go all the way to the edge making pull and push shots easy.

the blue attackers can't reach to the edge; the knob handle hits the outside wall. so it's push shot to net is useless/impossible.

how do i remove the rubber handles or fix this problem? is it possible by rearranging the rods/ was the table incorrectly installed,

A couple of things to check:
- If the goalie rod is longer than the three rod its in the wrong location
- If the handle side of the rod is shorter than the tail end of the rod, the handle is on the wrong side. Youll need to remove all the players and handle and flip the rod 180 degrees.

The handles are probably just a friction/press fit on that table unless you see a pin (unlikely). The rubber bumpers also need to right up against the outside players.

thanks figured it out. bought it used and the handles were on the wrong side of the rod. got them all out and hit the handles off with a rubber mallet
