Billings Montana Foosball Still Going Strong
« on: May 03, 2007, 03:09:26 PM »
Weekly Tuesday Night DYP (draw your partner) at Bullwackers (9pm).  The bar is under new ownership and hopefully this will be good.  $5 entry, 2 "new" Tornado tables, $.75 games, bar matches pot up $100, 3 out 5 double elimination, "new rules", very good talent.  Bring it!  That is all we ask.

Bullwackers will match the pot.  For example, $5 entry x 20 players = $100 pot + $100 house.  So, Bullwackers will match the pot with no limit.  For example, $5 entry x 40 players = $200 pot + $200 house = $400 total.  Tuesday nights DYP's are locked in.  Special thanks to Andy Elsberry for working with the new bar owner.

The shelti table plays alright.  The table on campus needs some lube on the rods and the correct balls.  Yes, the shelti table seems to pick up the balls pretty good.  The wide foot of the shelti man seems to grab the ball better than Tornado.  Shelti would be a fun table to have but I would get a Bonzini instead of a shelti anyday.

Marty,

I lubed up that Shelti table on Campus and spent a little more time on the table today.  Stick lane and wall passes are easy, the roller/snake shot bounces the ball in an out the goal with little effort, brush passes on the 5bar are very difficult, back pin brush shots from the goal are eay enough, the ball bounces off the walls way to much, ariel shots are impossible, a fun table but not a Tornado or Bonzini quality.

Marty, My cell is 406-794-1787 call me if you get in Billings early enough to try out that Shelti table.  I am a student at the college and allowed in so I think that there will be no problem if I have a couple of guests.  Also, my table is still for sale.  $600 is my bottom dollar.  I will throw in a few pins & push rod, hex tool & block, 6 balls, and vhs trainning video.  Pick up only
