We kick off the tournament weekend with the 2nd Annual Spring Scramble at Castle Bay Country Club in Hampstead, NC on Thursday April 18th. I hope to have a small DYP later on Thursday night to get the foosall event rolling. Attendance has increased quite a bit since the start of the year. The Mid-Atlantic Foosball Championships tested our no-conflict event structure for our Expert and Novice rated players without  any complaints. This structure will be in place for the NC Open. We need our local foosers to get out there and attract some golfers for our Thursday events. The field is limited to 22 teams at Castle Bay.

Alan,

I love playing at Break Time Billiards, they are such a supportive location. The layout is so cool and the staff/management team are top shelf.

Good luck with this one, Alan. I may just fill up the black on black bullet and surprise you!

Please try ot make it if you can.
The "Old Guys" are going to team up once again to see if they can reach the finals before splitting up for the rest of the year.
This should be a good tournament.

Absolutely!
Every once in a while, when the stars align just right, a senior citizen can pull an "Obi Wan" on a good team.
I had so much fun at the last event in the finals of Open Doubles I was thinking about practicing again.
Then I watched Robert Yates working the bracket in Open Singles and said "Hell No". Too much work!

If you in NC that weekend let me know.
I've got a "foosball pioneer legend" that's gonig to be there.
