DIY counterbalanced men.
« on: April 28, 2013, 02:10:22 PM »
Hi everyone, I'm pretty new to foosball(a few days) and I've just gotten my first table. The men it came with are the classic, un-counterbalanced men.

I'm not in the market to drop $100 on real ones so I was wondering if anyone knew about DIYing it. I was thinking somewhere along the lines of drilling a small hole in the back of the head and filling it with solder. Any suggestions?

I only plan on doing the 3 and 5 rods because the others already stay up. I would also start off with just one man on each rod and see if that makes a difference.

Also, sorry if this is the wrong place. This is the first time I've been here.
