Counterbalanced men falling

Everyone so helpful on here so thanks in advance. On my new Warrior table the 5 man rod doesn't stay up despite being counterbalanced. Pretty annoying. What would cause this and how do I fix it?

My guess is a bent rod.  A bent 5 rod is unusual though.  Try removing the men and try each one on a dowel rod (even an ink pen will work)  See if it drops down when on the dowel rod.  Could be a defective man.

Not sure what is wrong but I'm guessing just a bad man or two. Pretty sure the rod isn't bent. I contacted Warrior and they quickly asked me to try to loosen the bearings. When that didn't work they asked what Rod and color (5 man black) and said they'd send me a new one. Not sure what "new one" is exactly but already a fed ex package is on the way. I'm very impressed with their service. I was thinking it would be a whole new rod with men but since the package only weighs 5 lbs it must be just new men?
