How to determine the value of a used Tornado table?
« on: April 24, 2019, 02:00:59 PM »
Hello,
We have acquired a used Tornado table and would love to learn how to identify how much it is worth. I know very little about the topic, so we welcome any guidance.
Here is what I can tell you:
It is a tornado model, with a textured glass playing surface, raised corners, 1 player goalie, non-coin operated. All players are intact, all bars are straight. We believe it is a late 70's model, based on the metal patent number plate showing 78 0153. Plus the plate has no mention of Valley or Dynamo which suggests the table dates back to when Tornado was its own company.
It's in good condition, a few minor scratches on the wooden exterior due to normal wear and tear.
Can anyone give me some advice on how to value this product and determine whether it is unique? I do have several pictures if there is a way to attach here.

Thanks in advance!

Search function is your friend.

Looks like it might be worth 400 or so for the right collector. Otherwise it would probably sell for much less because of the difference between that and the modern table.
