Looking to buy a table
« on: July 24, 2020, 02:01:42 AM »
In the breakroom, I play on a tornado and really like it. The problem is I cannot find one used in the PNW and don't want to spend $2000+ on a new table. I was looking at the warrior or kick tables but there are no real reviews on them. Any thoughts?

Id say wait and be diligent about looking on FB marketplace and Craigslist. They pop up occasionally in my area and if they have a fair price they usually go quick. Im not familiar with Kick but Warrior makes a decent table, it is definitely a lighter weight than Tornado and the bars are more flexible due to the 9/16" diameter.

okay, thanks. Amazed at the lack of reviews or details on any of the mid price tables.

If you post your general location on here you might get some leads on used Tornado tables. After playing on a tornado table I think it will be tough for you to settle for something else :)

Dont buy a Kick, trust me.

A warrior will do but its hard for me to believe that you cant find a tornado somewhere near you.

I buy and resell a table every few months and have never had to drive more than a hour or so to pick one up. I've probably bought 40-50 over the years and there is always some form of a tornado for sale within a few hours of me. I see 7 right now just with a quick facebook search.

Check facebook marketplace, letgo, and craigslist for anywhere within 2 hours of you and one will eventually pop up.

If you want a table right now, get a Warrior. If you can wait, a Tornado will pop up for sale, keep looking. They are not as popular in my area either and there are none for sale within 200 miles but usually once a month they appear, more in the spring. Have you posted an "in search of..." on Facebook MP?

I also don't recommend buying a kick, you can buy great deals from time to time in fb marketplace and craigslist.
