I have not seen this movie yet but this is what I read

His latest non-event movie is "The Covenant," a generic thriller about high school friends who cast spells in secret. Looking more like a boy band than a Goth clique, the characters find themselves threatened by a new guy with special powers more formidable than theirs. He's the fastest swimmer they've ever seen and he's great at foosball. That's pretty much all he does for the first hour of the film, until he finally reveals himself a dark lord with a deadly agenda.
