Topic: Used Tornado Foosball Table For Sale in NC

I have been trying to sell this table on Craigslist, but no one knows what it is.  It is in great shape and was hoping someone might give me some ideas on how to sell it.  Let me know.....

I would say that no one is showing interest because you are priced too high. Used coin-operated tables go for around what you are asking for the most basic Tornado table. I see used Whirlwinds locally on craigslist for ~$150-$250.

It retails for over a thousand an looks like new.....and you are saying 450 is too much.......I dont want to give it away......Play it Again Sports offered me 350 for it.

Alaskan Thunder was right about Whirlwinds being sold at a much lower price...  But if Play-It-Again-Sports (Asheville?) is offering $350 for it, then:
1. It's basically in mint condition (can't really see from your pictures)
2. They prolly have a buyer willing to pay $500-$550 to them, as a local dealer.
If you have the time, then keep putting up your table on Craigslist and maybe you'll find that buyer. But keep in mind that buyer wouldn't really consider paying you close to what she or he'd pay a reputable dealer like P-I-A-S.  Might be a corollary good customer of theirs already, who's been buying or bought other stuff from them.

If someone is offering you $350 for that table take run to them and take the deal. Retail means very little for these tables. I bought a coin-operated table new w/ shipping for just over a thousand. I have owned a whirlwind (bought for $300 sold for $200) and regardless of what condition it is in, it has little resale value compared w/ other Tornados. There is a post on here right now titled "good deals on coin-ops" or something like that, check it out. Coin-operated tables have real value because they can make the owner money and are much more well built than home models. If coin operated tables are selling for less than your home model, it's a no-brainer for a potential buyer.

Yeah, take the $350 deal for sure. We used to have a Whirlwind at work that we bought for $250, and after we found a sweet deal on a coin-op, we unloaded the Whirlwind for $175. This was over in Raleigh.

Shoot, I wonder if all Play It Again Sports will buy foosball tables?  I honsetly would have never thought about selling it there.  I would sell it to them for $350 CASH easily, or if you are into sports try and have them give you store credit for $400 or something.
