Question
« on: July 25, 2011, 10:45:53 AM »
Me and my partner is planning a tournament.
And I wanted to buy a few foosballs specialy for the tournament.
My question is : is the cheap textured red foosballs the replacement for
The official tornado red foosball realy a replacement.
Same grip and same quality?

Arubian,

I would buy some of the 5 hour tumbled balls. They are the replacment for the ''pink fuzzies". The pink fuzzies are what you typically see in bar tables that are not new. You can order both from this website.

Where is the tournament that you are starting up?

That's such a great idea!  I was just encouraging Mary Moore of IFP/Tornado to please put one of her major tournament events in the Caribbean.  Aruba would be fantastic!
Keep growing your youth foosball!  You may have your timing perfect when the Tornado tour finally comes round, away from some of these silly snowy and frigid places when they can have them in the Caribbean.

Hi Arubian,

I'm glad to see you guys starting some tournaments.  I've met players from Mexico and several from Costa Rica.  Several of the Costa Rica players are very good.

If you need advice on running your tournaments, just ask on this board.  There are several players here who are willing to help out.

Maybe some of you can someday come to the Tornado World Championship.  This year it will be in Dallas, Tx August 31 through September 5.  You'll make a lot of new friends and get a chance to see the best players in the world.

That will be gr8, a wordwide tournament in aruba.
But here we have good players, they are like 85% of the pro's I saw on youtube.
The pro's are just faster, but practice make perfect.
But our guys have some skills and techniek.

If we can get some advice for organising the tournament will be nice.
For our organisation this will be the first tournament, and wish that it be succesfull.

Arubian...,
Check out one of the best playing ball.

The write up is on the fireball site.

Other balls that are popular like the 5 hour ball collects dust, dirt and silicone like a dust rag. Fireball balls is gripper and stays grippy for a longer time before you wash it.

If you want a ball that is easier for younger/new players to catch the ball and the Pros still like, buy the Fireball from Foosball.com or Fireballtablesoccer.com. Look them up. Brad
